Master P still hustling

Hard to really look forward to USC basketball next season (Mayo, please don’t leave to the NBA yet!) with Master P in his No Limit gear showing up to every game. WSJ has a story of lil Romeo’s journey from never playing a full season at Beverly Hills HS to getting a scholarship offer at USC.

It had to a be a package deal to get Demar DeRozan (#5 prospect on scout.com) as Master P became a representative for both players. None of this is surprising. We’re talking about lil Romeo here.

What’s more interesting is the fact that Coach Floyd doesn’t deny using lil Romeo as a business comodity to sell tickets.

“We may have more 11- to 17-year-old girls in the stands than we’ve had in the past,” he says.

In the end, it’s always about business. Even in college sports.
