A Bathing Ape - Los AngelesFinally checked out BAPE last weekend on Melrose. And after visiting the BAPE in NYC, there is a common theme that emanated from my visits: pretentiousness. Not necessarily just from the employees but the store has an incredibly arrogant attitude when it comes to their shopping experience. As we walked towards the store, a few people were waiting outside peeking into the store. I thought they lost and too scared to go in, so I walked up to the door and opened it and right before I went in, the security guard stopped me and said they only allow 15 people inside the store at a time! Wow. I mean it’s a cool store inside and everything like that but damn 15 people?
