I just wanted an extremely simple way to keep up with the news with little effort. I don’t wanna know EVERYTHING that happens. Just enough to sorta keep up on a daily basis.
At most 10 stories are posted, once a day. The stories are algorithmically-driven by a bot I wrote.
The design is extremely minimal. I took the concept of a tag cloud and applied it to the headline of an article, where each word of the headline is sized relative to the number of mentions in the article. Each headline links back to the article so you can get more information, if necessary.
It’s built on top of Tumblr, so you can follow it at leisure.
