Great interview with Corey Holms about remaking the logotype for Watchmen:
Like many typophiles, Holms noticed that something was off with the Watchmen logotype, which was set in a cut of Futura Extra Bold. Someone manually scrunched the C in WATCHMEN so it would sit on the baseline, eliminating the top and bottom overshoots, making it appear smaller than the other letters.(via lettercult)
